Job description

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer with a strong background in designing, deploying, and managing cloud resources on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), experience with Power Automate setup and licensing models, and a solid understanding of Azure AI services. This role requires at least 5 years of experience with Azure and the right Microsoft certifications.

Job requirements

Role & Responsibilities: 

  • Azure Resource Setup & Management.

  • Deploy and configure Azure resources including VMs, App Services, Storage, Networking, Databases, and AI/ML services.

  • Manage identity and access (Azure AD, Role-Based Access Control).

  • Ensure cost-optimized and secure deployments across environments (Dev, Test, Prod).

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

  • Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform.

  • Automate provisioning, scaling, and configuration management for cloud resources.

  • Contribute to version-controlled IaC repositories and enforce best practices.

  • Power Automate & Licensing.

  • Set up and manage Power Automate flows for process automation.

  • Provide guidance on different Power Automate licensing tiers and recommend the right plan for business needs.

  • Integrate Power Automate with Azure services and third-party applications.

    ·          AI & Cloud Innovation

  • Deploy and manage Azure AI resources (Azure OpenAI, Document Intelligence, Cognitive Services, AI Search, Machine Learning).

  • Collaborate with Data Science teams to ensure smooth deployment and scaling of AI workloads.

  • Security, Compliance & Monitoring

  • Implement security best practices, private endpoints, and managed identities.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot Azure resources using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.

  • Collaboration & Support

  • Partner with Data Science, DevOps, and Application Development teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

  • Provide technical documentation, training, and support for internal teams.

Qualifications: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on Azure experience with proven track record of designing and deploying cloud solutions.

Technical skills:

  • Strong expertise in Azure resource setup and management.

  • Proficiency in Terraform (or other IaC tools like Bicep, ARM templates).

  • Experience with Power Automate setup, licensing, and integration.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions).

  • Knowledge of networking, security, and governance in Azure.

Certifications (preferred):

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102)

Soft skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and lead cloud initiatives in cross-functional teams.
